TALK: Managing Wildfire, Wildlife & Wagons, Kerry Fieldhouse NYMR

Our first season of public talks begins with a presentation by Kerry Fieldhouse who is the Lineside Conservation and Sustainability Manager for The North York Moors Railway, NYMR. Kerry will be discussing her role in ‘Managing Wildlife, Wildfire and Wagons’.

The task of balancing the protection of what is a rich natural heritage along the 18 mile heritage railway route of the railway line, with the preservation of a much loved cultural heritage with its attendant fire risk, is a demanding but important one.
