Toby Panter from the North York Moors National Park returns with a follow-up talk all bout bats, Batty About Goathland Bats.
Goathland residents have been surveying bats all summer and now it’s time to hear about and discuss the results.
After the talk, it’s time for the bat walk! You’re welcome to join us as we head outdoors where Toby will lead a short, guided bat walk for anyone interested. You’ll have the opportunity to use handheld bat detectors to hear bats in real time as they forage, commute and interact at dusk around Goathland village.
Entry is free and refreshments will be available! All are welcome.
